Changelog
A running record of what changed in each product release.
In short
A changelog is a chronological record of the changes made to a product, listing new features, improvements, and fixes by release. It keeps users informed about what is new and gives teams a clear history of delivery. Public changelogs also signal momentum and reinforce that feedback leads to real updates.
A changelog records what shipped and when, usually grouped by version or date with notes on features, improvements, and fixes. For users it answers a simple question: what is new since I last looked.
A public changelog also closes a trust gap by showing steady progress. Kithspark links changelog entries to the feedback behind them, so when an item ships, the people who requested or voted for it are notified automatically.
Example
A release note lists a new export option, faster search, and two bug fixes, with a link to the request that prompted the export.
